Since the 1980s, single ply EPDM membrane has established an outstanding perfomance record in waterproofing and roof repair. Liquid Roof is best described as a liquid version of the EPDM membrane that’s been specifically designed for weatherproofing the roofs on motorhomes and RVs.

In liquid form, EPDM is easy to apply, and has two characteristics that set it apart from all other elastomers: resistance to ultraviolet light and ozone; the ability to withstand continuous exposure to temperatures over 150 °C (302 °F).

Because Liquid Roof retains its flexibility longer under harsh conditions, it has the best ageing properties among comparable products.

Spreading Rate: A 0.5 mm (0.02 in.) dry film will result when liquid is applied at the rate of 46 ft2 per gallon on a smooth surface.
  A rate of 3.7–4.0 sq. m (40–42 sq. ft) per gallon allows for average surface roughness.
Theoretical Coverage: 95 m2 (1020 ft2) per gallon at 0.025 mm (0.001 in.) dry.

Thinner: Most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvent (mineral spirits, VM&P Naphtha, Xylol). Weaker solvents should be used when coating EPDM rubber sheet to minimize distortion.
Chemical Resistance: Cured EPDM rubber is resistant to acids, alkalis and polar solvents (alcohols, ketones and glycols). Oils and fats will soften the rubber and should be avoided.
Cure System: Two component Peroxide initiated free radical cure.
Heat Resistance: 150 °C (302 °F) continuous exposure.
VOC: 295 g/litre (2.46 lb/gallon)
